Life on the river valley
Russellville sits between the Ozarks to the north and the Arkansas River to the south, with Lake Dardanelle right on the edge of town. That means humid air most of the year, wet springs, and soils that hold moisture. Older garage slabs here often show it: damp patches, white powder on the surface, and cracks from clay that swells and shrinks.
Garages that hold a lot
Between fishing on the lake, hunting in the national forest and work trucks, Russellville garages hold boats, ATVs, tool chests and freezers. The floor gets wet gear, mud and gas spills. A coated floor makes that easy to clean.
Homes we see
The neighborhoods near downtown and Arkansas Tech have older homes with smaller garages and carports. Newer subdivisions on the north side and toward Pottsville have bigger attached garages. Each slab gets the prep it needs.
Our coating options
Epoxy for garages | flake systems | metallic designs | polyaspartic | commercial floors | polished concrete | repairing failed floors | sealing outdoor concrete
How a job goes
The visit
We measure, look at how the slab was finished, and test for moisture. You get a written price.
The prep
Diamond grinding with dust control, crack repair, and a primer chosen for your slab.
The finish
Color, flake if you want it, and a clear top. Most garages take two days.
Towns nearby
We also work in Dover, Pottsville, Atkins, London and Dardanelle.
My slab has a white powder on it. What is that?
That is usually efflorescence, minerals left behind when moisture moves through the concrete. We grind it off and test whether a moisture-blocking primer is needed.
Can you coat a floor that holds a boat?
Yes. A thicker system and a textured top hold up well.
